Grant Evaluation Officer
The focus of this role will revolve around implementing strategies for evaluating programs funded by the JCF. The Grant and Evaluation Officer will work in a cooperative fashion with JCF colleagues, volunteers, and grantees.
Responsibilities:
- Helping evaluate new projects by creating Logic Models or Theory of Change schemas;
- Identifying KPIs such as success indicators for programs;
- Creating an evaluation strategy for programs that employs rigorous research methods, including effective sampling derivation;
- Performing statistical analyses;
- Writing detailed reports;
- Able to translate complex concepts into understandable data, to allow stakeholders to have a firm understanding of the evaluation process
- Presenting findings to the Allocation Board of JCF
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
- Strong knowledge of research and evaluation methodology
- Understanding of basic statistics and analysis is needed
- Excellent writing skills
- Previous research experience within a Jewish Community organization is an asset (extra bonus if it involves Jewish identity building)
- Knowledge of online survey building software
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of statistical software is an asset
