Shirley Dayan, BCom  

Marketing, Communications & Events Officer, The Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal

Shirley Dayan is the Marketing, Communications and Events officer at the Jewish Community Foundation of Montreal. She directs all communication strategies, oversees events, and executes all marketing, advertising, public relations for the JCF since May 2016.

Shirley has centered her work around the nonprofit sector for the last 13 years, mainly within Federation CJA, where her job function has always been focused on trying to better the Jewish community of Montreal and in Israel. She began at The Jewish Public Library by coordinating and launching the first North American PJ Library Program which quickly scaled at an unimaginable rate. She went on to pursue her career in Campaign at Women’s Philanthropy where she gained traction in programs such as Lunch for a Bunch, Choices and Montreal Challah bake to name a few. Prior to working in community, she held different positions with a number of corporate companies ranging from Product Manager, Project Manager and Team leader.

Shirley holds a Business and Management degree from John Molson School of Business. She prides herself on finding ways to help those in need. She takes great pride in her work, and truly enjoys all those she works with.
